Day 1 - Milan

Arrival day to Italy!! Arrived in Milan at 8 am and took a train and then a subway to our neighborhood that the Airbnb is in. We were able to drop our luggage while the cleaned it and we went out to explore the neighborhood!
We had amazing pizza and lemon soda and then went to a pharmacy for some essentials, dropped in a few stores, We had some pastries and cappachino.and went to a local park to take a nap til our Airbnb was ready. Such a beautiful day to lay in the grass and surrounded by locals doing their daily thing. Lots of groups of students traveling through, workers on benches taking their lunch break, ladies feeding the pigeons, lots of local flavor!
Checked into our cute Airbnb and took another nap with the windows open and the noises of the city. We have a fun hobbit door to enter the Arena 1 complex and then there is a beautiful courtyard. Such a great find considering the hotels were overpriced due to the big decor event going on this week.Read more
