Salento + Valle del Cocora + Filandia

Lately adding this post about Salento where we stayed three nights in a nice hostel and had a relaxing time with a few hikes! The main attraction around Salento is probably Valle del Cocora with the highest palm trees on earth. Thus we did a highly interesting tour at the coffee farm of an old guy from the UK who moved to Colombia 20 years ago, grows coffee on his farm and passes his knowledge on to tourists. Another thing I did was a day trip to Filandia which is a colourful small town near Salento where you can spend an afternoon and enjoy the good coffee of this region!Read more
