Leichhardt Lagoon

Great low cost camp on private property just East of Normanton. $8 per person per night, flushing toilets and a great hot shower. On Saturday we went to the "homestead" for the Camp Shindig $6.50 each for a 3 course meal, Pea and Ham soup/Damper, Roast Beef and Veg/Gravy, Sponge with Raspberry Sauce and Custard. Bring your own everything like plates, cutlery, table etc.
There where a lot of people at this camp that have been staying here for the last 20 years and they stay for the 5 months over the dry season.
Seen our first Salties, netted a Cherabin and used it to try for Barra (Water too cold apparently).
