Zimbabwe

Another early morning, another buffet breakfast and a flight to catch.
With the bags packed the night before, we were packing in a buffet breakfast to head to the airport for our flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
Mini shoutout to Airlink - their service and flights have been absolutely amazing. Check-ins and inflight were just so easy and smooth with plenty of food and drinks inflight.
We arrived at our accomodation in Victoria Falls called Bethel, and met our guide who would be looking after us for the next few days. After unpacking and finding our rooms, we were on our way to an evening river cruise up the Zambezi River.
The cruise was delightful, with our own band playing, bar service, and catering. Cruising up the river we saw crocodiles, a heap of hippos and elephants, and bird wildlife. The biggest treat was the evening sunset which lit up the sky in a bright African red. We even found out that we were going across to Zambia for a while!Read more
