Heading Home

Today was the day we headed home. Finishing up our final touches in the packing, making sure we had nappies, wipes, change of clothes, toys and snacks all on hand, we started our final legs for the land down under.
It was a quick commute to Victoria Falls Airport to take us from Zimbabwe back to Johannesburg in South Africa. Airlink once again gave us such a good flying experience, even when Leah lost half her wine on the plane. Upon arriving, we said our farewells to Emily and Amos for their time spent with us - until we meet again!
At Johannesburg, we used one of our Lounge Access passes to get into a lounge before our flight where we had food and showers to freshen up and change our clothes before our final 12 hour flight home.
The last leg was an overnight flight which Lennox slept mostly through and Rory had a few snoozes. At last, we arrived back in Sydney. Exhausted. Exhilarated. Experienced. What an amazing African experience!Read more
