Long drives, BBQ’s and Storms

Got up packed up and hit the road. We left Portugal as it was too dam hot lol never happy.
Long travel day - stopped for brunch at a petrol station, which actually was really tasty.

After stopping for shopping we arrived at our fav site Cabuérniga Camping ( for those we have talked to about this site the one with the 5 star bathrooms ) We took a wander down to the river with thunder stating to Ecco around the mountains. Headed back and had a couple of drinks in the bar and then set up for a BBQ using the on site BBQ’s - Prawns with garlic and chilli followed by rabbit in sage, garlic and paprika. We got the prawns eaten and most of the rabbit when the heavens opened and the storm truly hit. Legged it back to the van and now drinking the rest of the red wine and feeling thankful that we will get a good nights sleep tonight. As temperatures have dropped from 35 to a 20ish 💕🥰Read more
