Started our day in this magnificent Albergue in Gallegos
The theme of our journey so far is: few bars, Muchas wildflowers!!Now I understand how poppies got their name, look how they pop out, the red in the field of yellowPassed a village without a bar, and then the rest of the path became progressively less traffickedWe entered more than one gate into a farmAnd we saw some magnificently pruned treesWe crossed a field that was completely without a path, waist deep in thistlesThen to a path that was better defined, by then our feet were soaked!Still had to notice the flowers! We stopped in this area to change into dry socksThen we saw why we had not seen any spiders while walking through the waist deep greeneryI really liked this section with all the Stone fencesWhen we arrived in Aldea Del Obispo, we were welcomed by this horseFelipe was our hospitalero and we also had two French pilgrims with us in the albergue!

TravelerBeautiful wildflowers, but looks like very difficult walking. Love your photos.

TravelerYes, that day did have some pretty difficult walking, where there was no path through the high foliage. That’s unusual on the Camino.
