    Early this morning 12:00-1:00 am gathered with 50,000 other people at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem for a Selichot event. During the service, the crowds joined together in a unified prayer for the return of the hostages, the safety of the soldiers and the wounded, and for peace and security for the people of Israel. Selichot means forgiveness. These special prayers recited in the days leading up to Yom Kippur, when the people corporately seek God's forgiveness for the sins of the nation.Read more
