We met Carl and Sue in Queenstown this morning and then we all drove down to the Prayer and Praise Centre in Athol.

We are hankering down for a few days of miserable weather.. Friday will be another "snow on the road day!" Therefore we decided to take Waymaker through to Lumsden to dump and fill her up with freshЧитать далее
ПутешественникSo it's river laundry washing then, this week? Just read the weather for down there, sounds like if the wind doesn't get you the snow will. Take care.
ПутешественникYou are sure right there... strong ends snd rain today... snow arrives in 2-3hours down to 200mtrs we are at 320mtrs above sea level!!... snow on the roads. The Milfird Sound buses have been returning already. They normally come through around 6.30pm. We have the heater on already and everything is closed up and car secured.
Wish we were there as looking forward to experiencing snow around the van!! Take care x

We had a great dump of snow last night and as I write this more is falling. With the sun on the mountains and trees they become totally awesome.
ПутешественникMagnificent. Gods beautiful creation, looks so peaceful. I say this from the warmth of Tauranga. Are you warm in your home.
ПутешественникWe are toasties warm.. we have only the electric heating going.. the gas is hotter and diesel heating is tops but not needed.
ПутешественникPoor lambs down there. They will just be new borns. They dont lamb down there until October.
ПутешественникThe lambs next to us were born a month back.. quite large now... being spring the snow melts quickly therefore there is plenty of food, and large trees about for protection.
