Casa Owkuka!! Finally… Mommy Owkuka has been asking since years when I would finally come to visit their house and get to know Changuinola, the place where Chinelo grew up. Now the time has come. We arrived around mid day on Sunday and first things first: we got Nigerian soup (which is to be swallowed) and Nigerian rice with meat. After that, Kimberly, Chinelo’s sister and Chin took us around Changinola to see the banana plantations from the company “Chiquita”. EVERYTHING around this city is basically banana plantations…. Also, we spent a short visit to Costa Rica, walking over the bridge which connects Panama and Costa Rica. Usually we could easily cross over to Costa Rica but now with COVID everything is more complicated so that we just stayed on the bridge.

At night we still spent time with the family and played Rummy Kubb, had palomitas and coconut 😍
