    Hattens Wines - Bali

    It was mine and Jenny's second visit to Hattens Wines but we liked it so much that we had to take Graham and Marnie there on our Bali holiday.

  • Edenmae Wines - Springton

    A random Sunday drive and we found this little gem in Springton.
    The Winery is family owned and operated with very good product.
    Michelle looked after us with our tasting and is lovely.
    They breed Border Collies and name their wines after their dogs.Read more

  • Linfield Road Wines - Williamstown

    Another Sunday afternoon drive and another great find.
    It didn't look like it was open but on further inspection we realised it was.
    Steve is the owner, a great bloke and was good fir for a chat whilst we had a tasting.
    We made a purchase including a very nice fortified.

    Second time here for Jen and I, first time for Cameron and Jayne.
    We sat on the porch overlooking the vines and enjoyed a 3 cheese platter. We all had a tasting and made some purchases before we left.

  • Leconfield Wines - Coonawarra

    Firstly, we were blown away by the stunning gardens and setting.
    Then we had one of the best tastings with Natalie (Narelle) who was super engaging and she took us through the whole range of wines which were excellent.
    Turned out she was a Northern Suburbs girl and had some commonality with Jayne and Jenny.

    What we thought would be a quick visit to mark off our card ended up being an amazing experience with a guided tour by the owner of Majella, Brian Lynn.
    Together with a brilliant tasting with Stella, we were shown the Copper Still for the Gin, the yard, the crusher and barrel room.Read more

    We thought it'd be good for Cam and Jayne to see the set up at Bellwether which was formerly Glen Roy shearing shed.
    We re-acquainted ourselves with Sue and had a very interesting tasting giving us information on the local area's history and soil.Read more

    One of our favourites but on this occasion, we dropped in quickly so that Jenny could purchase her Piccolos.
    The girls had a small tasting, Cam and Jayne bought a few wines and we went on our way.

    The kids bought us a voucher for Hollick Wines so we decided to have lunch in Upstairs restaurant which had recently re-opened as a Pasta venue with an Italian chef.
    We enjoyed an amazing 3 course meal paired with Hollick wines, overlooking the vines of the Coonawarra. 👌Read more

  • The Lane - Adelaide Hills

    Myles had bought a gift voucher from The Lane for Jenny for her birthday so we took Brig and Myles for a drive in the hills on a Monday and had lunch there.
    The food selection is quite something.
    It's one of the premium wine venues in the Adelaide Hills.
