Woke at leisure and packed up ready to go.
Before we left, we walked up the street and had coffee and breakfast at the Bakery then wandered back to the Motel to set off for Penola.

Coonawarra Store for lunch

We were given a tip by Natalie at Leconfield that Coonawarra Store did great pastries and was a really funky old fashioned shop. She was right.
Lovely service with good food and coffee.

Whistle Post Wines

First time we've been and really enjoyed it. Family owned and operated, they moved in around 7 years ago and started their Cellar Door.
Their vineyards are further North in the Coonawarra.
Dinner at The Royal Oak
