My Kiwi friends were so crazy to decide to take a 2-3 year sabbatical, buy a boat in the Med and sail it back home. They found a wonderful Bavaria 42 in good shape in May and are now taking their time to train- which I am joining them for 2 weeks. Read more

Found a wonderful little bay to swim after some sailing. Now looking for a place to anchor for the night.

Maintenance and paper works

Went to Harbour police to get last documents stamped- unsuccessful though. Not so easy in Greece. Some maintenance works around the boat and the dinghy. Planing to sail around Pelepones asap.

Weekend in the bay

Still anchoring in the bay opposite Nydri, reading manuals and discussing plans and possible adaptations to the boat. Hoping to receive the requested certificate tomorrow and get the stamp from the harbour police, so we can take off on Tuesday morning. Keep fingers crossed!Read more
