The Paredones was an early Incan expansion into the area. Stone is limited here, so it was used only at the bases of the most important structures, with adobe being used for most upper walls (which show the wear from the weather). This was interesting, but were flagging from the desert heat by then and we're happy to move on to an indoor museum.Read more
