Parque Ambiental de Vilamoura

The Parque Ambiental de Vilamoura, translates as Environmental Park of Vilamoura, and it's a less known attraction in the region.

It's settled in an unlikely area, amidst a sewage station and golf greens. This is a spot where I used to come often, back in the days I lived in Vilamoura (2006-2007) and I am not sure I returned here since then.

It's a quiet area, ideal for a walk or some short distance biking. Specially in the Spring, when the birds are more active.

Talking about birds, you wont wanna miss the birds watching shelters. There are two of them.

I also like the old farm building, by the main entrance, and when it rains, the Quarteira creek is nice, with all the water flowing.Baca selengkapnya
