V chilled morning in the ferry off and ready to rock by 1400
150km on the motorway not much fun but got into the Famous N162 which is a haven for bikers
Up over the hills in 20mt visability after a quick snack in Potes
Never met cattle grazing on a main road until today

Off the Ferry and down to Leon
Down the motorway until the exit for the N621
Famous motorcycle road which winds it's way through mountain gorges. Stopped in Potes for a coffee
The trip to the famous Deer was through pee soup fog which vanished shortly after
Arrived in Leop late.. About 22.00
No cafe open so Burger King.. Twas tasty
Lost a set of keys en route and beeline nav died.

Great trip down.. Spain to Portugal N120 is a savage road for bikes 🙄🙃

Arrived in. PdL 7 hours later the place was manic
900 years old... Oldest town in. PORTUGAL

Early night last night.. Long day at my age...
Nobody told the DJ next door
Music... Thumping... Finished about 5:30am...crowds started dispersing... Started
Cleaning next
Then marching bands from 8:30

What a day what a buzz
Folks drinking from 9am nobody drunk 12 hours later, bar 4 little sh1ts

We watched and cheered loads of bands and had bbq

Same tonight we fear with salute to the dead at 8am...folliwed by... Marching bands 😭

Sad to be leaving PdeL it was an amazing experience. Though not much sleep 😢
Uneventful trip to Santiago... Misty drive through the Camino route towns
Nice stop in Pontevedra where we had lunch in a Harley based cafe and met a guy raised in Dublin running the cafe..

In Santiago now.. Still loads of walkers 😂😂

Santiago day 2 started misty... And stayed that way till mid afternoon
Loads of walking what is an amazing city with people arriving from all over the world
We chatted to a group from Ireland who had walked from Porto
Previous year did the French Camino... 31 days 😮
Found a fantastic café for next time...
Went white linen for dinner v poor though pics look good

Drive from Santiago was a long one... Took 7 hours 😮
Great roads bar the motorway... Lesson learned
Gijón has a different vibe
Big city.. Industrial... Loads of police sirens
Fab hotel best sleep ever but we were tired

Great spin down from Gijón on the N625
Amazing scenery again. One gripe is there are no places to stop for pics
V warm en route getting up to 35deg
Burgos is big with a huge cathedral. We stayed in the old town. No parking but our host sorted a space... Nice quy 😊
Tapas for dinner early as we missed lunch again

Spent the day in the club lounge grazing....

Sooo happy booked the B&B
It was monsoon weather and my visor is dark so visibility nearly zero
Went to cushens in Tagoat for pint once checked in
Trad music kicked off and we were treated to sambos and sausages chips and I onion rings
