Wolfe Creek Crater

This morning, in drizzling rain, we set out on the Tanami Rd to Alice Springs calling into. .Wolfe Creek (meteorite) Crater 😨 on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert and the spinifex grasslands of the East Kimberley. It is the second largest crater in the world from which fragments of a meteorite have been collected. It is 880m across and almost circular. Aboriginal people call it Kandimalal.
