    Farewell Queenstown

    March 5 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

    We flew into Queenstown and enjoyed three nights here before driving to Te Anau, Lake Tekapo, Akaroa, and Dunedin before returning for another two nights back in Queenstown. We stayed at the Swiss belsuites and Kamana Lakehouse and dined at the Botswana Butchery, Rata, The Bunker, and Nest. We were extremely lucky with the weather with only two wet days, each of which we were travelling to our next destination, so it didn't interfere with our plans. The Queenstown Gardens had some gorgeous roses, and the edge of the lake area was a very popular tourist destination.Read more
