Blarney Castle and Stone, Blarney, Cork

From Kilkenny to Killarney, we drove to Blarney in County Cork to see Blarney Castle and Gardens and, of course, to kiss the Blarney Stone. 💋Fable has it that if you kiss the Blarney Stone, you will receive the gift of eloquence, and your troubles will be resolved.
The 100 acres of parkland and gardens are beautifully maintained, and the line to the top of the castle, where the Blarney Stone is located, wound throughout the steep stairwells and rooms. We queued for an hour and a half before finally reaching the top. Approximately 400 000 people visit this landmark annually.Read more
