• Another great ride then ferry to Malta

    May 25 in Malta ⋅ 🌬 20 °C

It was another really enjoyable day with the two historic vehicles clubs of Sicily and Malta followed by a very rough sea crossing to Malta.
We met at 9am in front of the cathedral and ride slowly to the cheese factory then about an hour's ride to Chiara nonte gulfi where I was introduced to the mayor. Stephen bought me an ice cream then the shop owner came out to ask if I enjoyed it! It was lovely. Then another ride to the lunch venue for the obligatory 3 hour lunch. Between the courses I popped out to the bike and tightened the oil feed pipe to the rocker on the bike which I notice was today's leak.
After the meal we rode to the Pozzallo ferry where I said goodbye to everyone from the Maltese group and road to Marina de Ragusa for my ferry.
I'm now in Malta having ridden 1387 miles since I left Wickhambrook.
It has been 17 years since I last ride a Vincent to Malta. Now it's time for a rest the give the bike some attention which will include a new battery as it died in Palermo.
I'm including photos and video taken by others. They are better than mine!
