Interestingly, the church in the fort was surrounded by an anchor chain interspersed with cannon.

This cannon seemed huge to us -- 11 inch barrel openings.

We feel very comfortable in Helsinki now. The streets, shops, and restaurants are familiar now.

We had an excellent supper Restaurant Savotta, on the recommendation of Steve Casad, who traveled here a year or so ago with Phyllis. It’s decorated in the style of a logging camp. Dishes are traditional fare cooked very flavorfully. We thought the meal was terrific.Meer informatie
