Aratiatia Dam

The Aratiatia Dam in the Waikato River is used to create hydroelectric power sustainably for the region. The dam opens it's gates four times a day and it releases 80000 litres of water per second. It was pretty impressive.
The first picture is showing the river while the gates were still shut while the second picture is showing the flooded river. In the third picture you can actually see the dam.Weiterlesen
