    We drove along the scenic Forgotten World Highway that goes from Stratford to Taumaranui. Located on this highway is Whangamomona, which declared itself an independent Republic in 1989. Other highlights of this route were the handcarved Moki Tunnel and Mount Damper Falls.Read more
