    Otira Viaduct

    We drove along Arthur's Pass that connects the West Coast at Kumara to Christchurch on the East Coast. Arthur's Pass National Park was the first National Park on NZ's South Island and lies in the Southern Alps.
    Our first stop along this route was the Otira Viaduct where we met about 15 Kea. Kea are very cheeky alpine parrots who love to pose for a picture but also like to chew rubber off cars.
