Waterfalls on Haast Pass

After Ship Creek we drove on the Haast Pass to Wanaka. On the way we stopped at three waterfalls, the Roaring Billy Falls, the Thunder Creek Falls and the Fantail Falls.
Blue Pools I

Roys Peak

All of the 2.5 hours hike up Roys Peak were really steep but when we reached the top we agreed that is was definitely worth it. Such a great view over Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains.
Arrowtown

After spending a night on the highest sealed road in all of NZ, the Crown Range Road in the Cardrona Valley, we quickly stopped in Arrowtown before heading towards Queenstown.

Shotover Jet Boat

The jet boat ride on Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown was so much fun. The ride was about an hour long and the boat goes as fast as 85 km/h. It also only needs 2 inches (5 cm) of water to stay afloat. We Czytaj więcej

In Queenstown we met up with our friend Luke again who we first met in our hostel in Wellington.

Te Anau

The Bluff

We did it. All the way from Cape Reinga to the Bluff, north to south.
Even though Bluff isn't actually the southernmost point of NZ we still enjoyed a nice coastal walk and some fun pictures.

Curio Bay

Shag Point

Overnight stop at Shag Point with a beautiful sunrise. We found some weird but awesome rock formations and seals on the cliff. We were wondering if this was another petrified forest.
Moeraki Boulders
