First Days with the Van

We got a van!
The first couple of nights we slept in car parks and had showers on the beach. But we we're mostly just chilling and making upgrades in Cornwall Park. What a life.

After the beach days we had to stay another couple of days in Auckland where we met lovely people like Manuel, Ted and Tim.
We finally started our road trip up north.
04/12: Orewa Beach, Snells Beach
Camping: Tawharanui Peninsula
05/12: Tawharanui Regional Park and Anchor Bay, Goat Island, Mangawhai Heads
Camping: Ruakaka
What an awesome day! We went on a 6h sailing boat (Gungha II) tour, saw dolphins, penguins, sharks and stingrays, went for a lovely swim and explored an island. And Jake had a great time helping withLes mer
After the boat tour we left Paihia to go to Kerkeri to visit the Rainbow Waterfalls.
We made it to the (nearly) most northerly point of New Zealand, Cape Reinga.
After Cape Reinga we went to play on the Giant Te Paki Sand Dunes.
