    By the end of my walk, I had run out of water. It was extremely hot, and I had 2 kms more to go in the middle of nowhere. Augustine, a 75 year old, retired oil drilling platform worker, who had worked all over the world, even Halifax, gave me a lift to a local fountain, and then dropped me off at the path again. I took it as a sign: my birthday is in August, and his name is Augustine. It reaffirms my belief that we are all connected to each other and to our environment!Read more
