    On the way, I met Suzanne from Angers, France. We walked together for the latter part of the afternoon. After arriving at the albergue, taking a shower, and doing my laundry, I had a nice meal with 5 Spanish men. Mostly, I just listened to them speak Spanish and watched some of the olympics on the TV. I tried some "crème" which is very similar to Baileys, for a digestif/desert. It was a 3 hour meal. In the dorm, Tammy loaned her mat, elastic band, and ball, so that I could do "proper" stretches on yhe floor. Up until now, I have been doing only cursory stretching. Tammy's birthday is August 11th, and she will arrive in Santiago on her birthday. Her birthday is the same date as Suzanne's mother's birthday. There were 5 empty bunks in our dorm which was weird because it has been a real challenge to find beds in the albergues since Sarria. Too many "tourists" and huge groups of people.Read more
