Day of Rest: Ignacio, the shoe store owner, told me to take a day of rest. Spent 3 hours with him. He made sure to get good fitting shoes and sandals for me. He also explained the importance ofWeiterlesen
From Arre to Pamplona: Distance of 4.8 kms today. I just need to get to Pamplona and get some new footwear, that is my main goal.
The home stretch to Puente la Reina
A long walk : 24 kms. A very hot day without shade. The day was made much easier with my new shoes and socks. Also, making sure to take magnesium and vitamins.
On the road by 8:00 am and found a place to have breakfast in Puente la Reina because the albergue didn't offer breakfast. I actually never saw any host/concierge at the albergue.
Finishing up the
walk of the day and arrived at Lorca around 3:30pm. It was 32°C and I walked 15.5 km. Host José Ramon was very kind and thoughtful. He offered water when I arrived, and said to takeWeiterlesen
Walked 11 kms today. Feet are still sore.
