Paris Day 3

Today started with Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, where I had a delicious Nutella and strawberry crepe.

The Pantheon was next, including its crypt and a cool scientific experiment showing the rotation of the Earth. (The pendulum in the video).

Managed to get into the Louvre after queueing for about half an hour. Spent a few hours there and saw many cool exhibits, the Mona Lisa among them.

The others were knackered and headed back to the hotel while I visited sacre coeur for a gorgeous sunset.

Off to Bordeaux tomorrow on the second floor of a double-decker high speed train. Weather looking promising.Read more
