Tamaki Maori Village

We selected Derrek as our chief and when we arrived we met TK who did a speech on his native tongue and sang a song, Derrek then did a speech and we sang oma rapati before having afternoon tea. After afternoon tea we got shown out our sleeping house and rested before the official welcoming, after the official welcoming we got to see how Maori traditionally lived then we got to see our food pulled out of the ground.
