A Tour of Kotor

Our private tour guide picked us up from Bar after we had wandered around the markets ( and I randomly ran into a friend Donnell, who is on our cruise!) and we set off for Kotor and Peraste. The scenery here is very much like NZ and looking down on Kotor is like looking at Queenstown! From Budva we went over to Sveti Nikola island to the monastery and then wandered through the old town. Our guide was amazing and full of information. Coming back, we hit a road block after an accident had totally stopped traffic on the only road back into Bar! After 30 minutes of anxiety and our driver making frantic calls, the Ship said they would wait, so we got back onboard with minutes to spare! Drinks all round after that one!!Read more
