Kaneohe Bay: Coconut Island

Today we had an 8 AM pick up that drove us through some beautiful mountains and popped us out at Kaneohe Bay. Our guide, Mica, towed the lot of us out to Coconut island where we learned about the islands interesting past owners. After a quick snack we got into the crystal clear waters and started snorkeling around the reef surrounding the island. We saw lots of beautiful coral, huge fish, two huge turtles covered in barnacles, and even a pufferfish. We were then towed half way back and kayaked the rest of the way. After enjoying an authentic Hawaiian barbecue we were driven back to the hotel were I quickly passed out after a tiresome day.Læs mere
