After a couple or more beers we went to time out market to eat some local specialities such as octopus with vegetables and spices and the popular “pastel de nata” which was amazing.

After a good night of sleep we went to have breakfast with anorher pastel de nata or 2.

Even though it may seem a tourist trap i found our stroll on the tuk tuk pretty fun.

Surfing

We went surfing in Carcavelos.
We took a private lesson with an instructor literally named “Help” and then we stayed on our own in the water.
It was great.

After a good shower, we went to dinner in a very interesting local place.
We had a fish dinner with shrimps, tuna, mackrel and vegetables.
Very good and the portoguese owner being very charming.

On the second day we went to try the original Pastel de Belem, typical pastry from Lisbon.

After seeing that there was an incredibly long que to visit the monasteiro de San Jeronimos
We decided to go to the Sanctuario Christo Rei, overlooking on Lisbon.

We had a very fun trip on a Tuk Tuk.
The driver could speak a bit of italian.
He drove us around, speeding, singing and explaining the city to us.
