Day 78

2 passes today: up and over Benson Pass and up Seavey Pass.

I do not recommend Piute Creek. It was cool descending into a deep dark foresty valley full of ferns. But the mosquitoes destroyed my legs. Things weren’t better on the ascent either.

15 bites on my left shoulder, several on the rest of my arms and probably upward of 50 on each leg. I’m taking allergy meds to help reduce the swelling.
