Castello di Miramare

Built by an Austria noble man in 1856 who became emperor of Mexico two years before it was finished and he was executed in Mexico about the time construction was finished. It feels like it was dangerous to be rich in the olden days. The castle was also used as a US Army headquarters during World War II.
I have often fantasized about buying a house with an amazing yard or building my own amazing yard. I now realized I just need to live next to a house with an amazing yard that has no entrance fee.Read more
