Thailand

Thailand was never a European colony like much of the rest of Southeast Asia. The king at the time felt it was important to look European when talking with Europeans. So he build his palace and dressed like Europeans. The first three pictures show some of his palace grounds. The two pictures of the Chinese building are also built on the palace grounds and where paid for by Chinese emigrants that became wealthy, as a thank you to the king. Czytaj więcej
