British Science Museum

Now this is my kind of museum.

The shift from burning wood to burning coal produced the first energy crisis. The surfaces coal was running out and underground coal was flooded with water.
So the very first steam engine was built to pump water out of coal mines so that coal could be mined underground. Years later steam engines started to be used in factories. Last picture is an actual flying plan with no wings, it is not a helicopter. There where a lot of different airplane designs before world war II.Read more

Mark's old pinball machine and it still works.
Went to the original Du Pont factory where they made gun powder. Rolling mill was for making gun power.

The last pictures are of a bridge built on sail boats with a motor boat at the end that opens the bridge by swinging it open along the water.
Traveler I like it. We need more pistachio colored buildings.

8 is a water slide made from an old billboard sign. The kids seemed to be having fun. Maybe the Mt Playmore sign could have a second life in Costa Rica.

Cayman Turtle Center
The turtles lay their eggs on the sand in the picture. The center incubate the eggs and then place the eggs in the sand around the island right before they hatch.

I do not recommend visiting Cartagena. The best thing to see are the animals at the gift shop in the port. The tour guide said there are a lot of Venezuelas that are illegally in Columbia causing issues. I think San Juan is a much better city to visit. San Juan has a Starbucks! :)Read more
