St. Moritz is an expensive sky resort area. Each day I took a different cable car to the peak of a different mountain and there where a few other cable cars I did not have time to ride.
1. Shows a glacier
2. They put a fabric over the snow at the end of the sky season to keep it from melting and washing away the ground under the snow.
3. If you look closely, you can see the cable car.
6. In the last picture, if you can't ride the snow, at least you can ride the snow melt.Read more

Not much to do in Zurich for a tourist unless you want to go to a Taylor Swift concert. It was funny seeing all the Taylor Swift fans packing up and leaving town. Last two pictures are of a botanical garden full of desert plants.Read more

Wengen is way more impressive then Zurich.
First picture is the view from my hotel room. I think I really lucked out on this room. The last two pictures show how steep the train trackers are and the train uses a gear between the two rails to move up and down the mountain.

TravelerBeautiful. Lyn and I spent 8 months in Lausanne and got to see a bunch of Switzerland back in 2001. Don’t hurry on to your next country. I want to see more Swiss pix.

The Swiss built this train with a tunnel thru the mountain for the last 10 mins of the ride to what is basically a small mall on the top of a mountain. It had a chocolate store, two watch stores, a gift shop and three restaurants, or yea and a really small observatory.Read more

1 Is the the observatory, the mall is where I was standing when I took the picture.
2 3 They had a tunnel thru the ice with some ice sculptures.
4. Out door tub slide, they also had a zipline.

Zermatt is an expensive tourist town where they have outlawed all gas and diesel vehicles. They only allow electric vehicles and it seemed like only electric vehicles made in town.

This is a railway that goes to the top of a mountain with a hotel. It also has a view of Montezuma’s Revenge which the map strangely has it listed as the Matterhorn.

Geneva is a nice expensive city but there is not a lot for tourist to see or do here. They don't even has a Taylor Swift concert.
It was surprising to learn that most people in Geneva speak French where the rest of Switzerland they speak German.Read more
TravelerI recommend riding one of the ferries on Lake Geneva. It’s a great place to get a little apple pie and ice cream while relaxing on a boat. I wonder if you could get a day pass for the ferries and just hop between Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, and Évian.
