The Gulf of Papagyo provided little protection from the wind this morning at our intended port of San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. Sustained gale winds of 40 knots with gusts to 70 knots made it unsafe to tender ashore (I’m learning ship speak), her anchors would not hold at those wind speeds combined with seas of 3 meters.Leia mais
