Calais

We finally arrived at our last destination in France, and decided to risk staying in Calais for the night. Luckily CCP have taken over an Aire near the promenade. It's a large site with enough space for a hundred motorhomes. Calais is a place we have only ever travelled through on the way into or out of France. The sea front has had a revamp and is a pleasant place to spend the day. We had a walk around the town centre but found it quite tatty, still it's a good stopover for the ferry terminal as we had an early sailing.Read more
