    We are moving towards Calais now for our journey home, but we found a great free Aire within walking distance of the stunning town of Dinan. Its a medieval town with a Castle watching over the Citi. The town itself has lots of intresting architecture and is a busy place for tourists this time of year. We paid to visit the Castle which gave us great views over the town and was a great way to spend a couple of hours. In the evening we walked to the beautiful village of Taden which wouldn't be out of place in the Cotswold's, it has a picturesque marina with the huge river running all the way past Dinan.Okumaya devam et

    Le Mele sur sarthe

    Longer drive today as we head towards Calais, we stopped at a great CCP Aire which used to be a campsite and still has all the facilities including a small shop, never seen that before at a ccp aire. Its located next to a lake with a beach and a nice village with some shops and bars. We went for a hike on the old railway line which goes on for miles.Okumaya devam et

    Ailly Sur Noye

    This is our last stopover until we get to Calais on Friday for an early Saturday ferry. We stayed at the smallest CCP Aire so far, it only has 6 places. The town of Ailly Sur Noye is not really a tourist town but there is a nice park close to the Aire to walk around.Okumaya devam et

    Calais

    We finally arrived at our last destination in France, and decided to risk staying in Calais for the night. Luckily CCP have taken over an Aire near the promenade. It's a large site with enough space for a hundred motorhomes. Calais is a place we have only ever travelled through on the way into or out of France. The sea front has had a revamp and is a pleasant place to spend the day. We had a walk around the town centre but found it quite tatty, still it's a good stopover for the ferry terminal as we had an early sailing.Okumaya devam et
