St Jean du Doigt

We headed for the Aire in the pretty village of St Jean du Doigt unfortunately it was closed when we got there so carried on 1km to the coast and parked up on the cliff with views over the beach and a nice sunset in the evening right on the Gr34 coastal path. We loved it so much that we stayed for two nights. The village has some stunning houses and it was nice walking around looking at all the buildings. There is another village close by that has a good market on a Tuesday.Read more

Moving along the North Brittany coast we found a CCP aire in a great location right next to the coastal path and a lovely beach. This part of Brittany is our favourite stop of this trip so far, so we stayed for a couple of nights to give us enough time to explore. We hiked along the Gr34 coastal path in both directions and passed lots of beautiful beaches with small boats moored in the bays. The weather has held up and we are enjoying plenty of sunshine.Read more

We moved a little further along the coast to the port of Aber Wrach. It's a working fishing port with pleasure boats in the large harbour. We parked in a large car park where motorhomes are allowed. Its a great stop for the Gr34 coastal path and there is a village close by with a good Boulangerie.Read more

Le Faou

We headed inland as the weather was not as good so we took shelter in a Ccp aire alongside the river in Le Faou. The Aire is in a good spot and is close to the small town centre with its Church and restaurant's and pretty cobbled streets. We had a nice walk along the river and the weather stayed dry.Read more

We were recommended this stopover by a lovely British couple we met on our travels a couple of weeks ago, and what a lovely village it is! We decided to visit Quimper for the afternoon, we had not considered going here but it looked an interesting place to have a wonder around. The town is dominated by huge double tower. There is a good shopping area around it and a river to have a stroll along, we had a nice time here.Read more

After our trip to Quimper we wanted somewhere to chill out for the evening, we found a nice lakeside free aire in the town of Rosporden. The location is very good with views of the lake and a green way running alongside the aire. Only issue we had was the parking is under huge tree's and it rained most of the night so we didn't have a peaceful sleep.Read more

We found a good park up for the night overlooking La Trinite sur mer just outside the village of Saint Philbert, there are no services but it's free and the views are fabulous. We had a quiet night and the next day went for a walk around La Trinite sur mer.Read more

After lunch we headed for the CCP Aire at Grand Champ, which as a added bonus has a new shower block. We found a great hike from the Aire which circles around the town . Grand Champ has a nice selection of shops and bars so is a good place to stay for a night or two.Read more
