A short walk from the lake is the mediaeval town: Borgo Canale di Tenno. Their view of Lake Garda.

If you've got 4 wheels, use 'em. Ok some people circumnavigate Lake Garda by bicycle, but l was proud of taking on the Italian drivers and coming away unscathed. Steven Ong, the drive back along the lake at sunset is better than anything you'll experience in Gran Turismo... Jonah even insisted on playing the Top Gun soundtrack on the way back.
