Lunch at the Smugglers Bar. A quaint small bar with a Pirate theme and deck with views over the bay towards the ocean.

While looking for a table came across a friend from the marina - Michele and her family from Ireland.

Spent a lovely hour sitting on the deck with a beverage and snack looking out towards the bay with Momemtum in the distance before getting supplies and returning to the yacht.Read more

From Oneroa we moved to Motuihe Island.

Stopped at Calypso Bay.

Went ashore to explore the beach and rock pools.

Unfortunately getting back in the Dinghy proved a challenge lol..... Half in and a wave comes through...... Next then I'm the dingy upside down and stuck....... Dan did well trying to contain his laughter in my moment of embarrassment until he released I was laughing.... Finally I managed to right myself with help from Dan.Read more

Rock Pools

Just around the corner from Waikalabubu Bay is a lovely little bay.

Quiet and tranquil. Seagulls and Shags enjoying the breeze to glide in and diving for fish.

Here we enjoyed a trip ashore and explored rock pools, although I found it to hot so headed back to the pines to enjoy the shade and the chance to soak up the tranquility of the bay.

Dan carried on and explored the rock pools, trying out the Go Pro in the pools.Read more
