Day 15 Homeward Bound !

So the journey over and now to deal with the destination- we are back via Delhi and then Dubai overnight .

Country of contrasts !
The history ( mughals and religions and buildings) vs the now ( billionaires , unfinished buildings and the poor or very poor).....and unfortunately a lot of smog and street rubbish . Still a great country and great experience and a great group to travel with !
Highlights : Taj Mahal , Varanasi Ghats , the Golden temple , Kolkata flower market , BodhGaya Temple complex , Sarnath Buddha and those crazy tuktuks and the Wagah flag ceremony !

The train experience has enabled us to see a bit more of Indian life .

Top tip?
Take a good face mask for the rickshaw rides !!
Most surprising issue ? General difficulty in getting gin and tonic in Hotels!!!

So the journey over , maybe the south one day
