    Will it rain ?

    November 1, 2023 in England ⋅ 🌙 11 °C

It’s the gang of three and we eventually convene at King’s Cross to walk a small section of the canal before it disappears under the city only to reappear at Islington!
It’s a drizzly day but company is good !
Back on the canal towpath we pass my old working haunt of Graham street and now with upmarket basin !
It’s onward past graffiti and locks until we reach the infamous Sharks! at Haggerston bridge. The legal dispute over this art installation is a weird story but the inflatable sausage and one shark remain and the four others on the roof of the art studio .
Pressing on we pass the soon to be ritzy flats in another old gasometer at Broadway east !
Weather improving we walk through Victoria park and
Chinese pagoda folly courtesy of old exhibition from central London !
And we’re done - a lot of pubs closed or opening later including the cash only Palm Tree pub and ex - film set !
Eventually Mile End emerges and we find the Coborn pub open for beer and food and hippy traveller chat !
    Next stop Patagonia !
