Melaka

Back travelling after an extended stay in KL, picking up a hire car and heading south a couple of hours to the old port town of Melaka, now a world heritage site. Ended up really busy thanks to deepavali (dewali) public holidays. Spent most of the days walking around the old town but found a nice bar and restaurant on the river right near our hotel. Explored the night markets but far to hectic for my taste. Spent the last afternoon / night with an Aussie bloke, Julian, who lives in Georgetown (our next stop).
