Taipei's Hiking Trails

Taipei has amazing access to nearby mountain forests that fringe the city (15 mins away) . We walked up Elephant Mountain for views of the city and spent 1 day hiking to Yinhe temple and caves. We took advantage of a 4km Gondola ride up the mountain and then set out through some small farm plots before reaching the ridge. From there it was up and down some fairly steep sections of tracks before arriving at the temple and waterfall, which you walk behind. This was probably one of the most enjoyable and scenic hikes I have ever done. The pictures say it all.Læs mere
