Travel days to Nagano and Hakuba

2 days of travel, the first was a 4 trains journey including another leg on the fairly expensive Shikansen bullet train, to arrive in Nagano. Much colder than Kyoto with the first hint of snow. It was only a brief 1 night stop over before heading up to the Hakuba Valley for our week of snowboarding, which I am definitely looking forward to just not as much as the kids. The amount of snow in our town of Tsugaike Kogen is unbelievable. Our accommodation is sensational, only 100m from the ski lifts, its own onsen, fantastic communal longe and dining, and our traditional 2 bedroom room is very spacious. Met a few Aussies staying here and knocked the froth off a couple of Asahi.Læs mere
